Young Boats in Inglis is motoring toward an expansion to offer more in-demand repair and restoration services.
The company is having a 5,000 square-foot steel building added to its site north of town. Once construction is complete in August, the boat manufacturer will be able to take on more repair and restoration work. This is in response to growing demand at the 21-year-old business.
Construction began in March of this year, and is being done by Fly-N-Inn Inc. of Inglis, which is experienced with steel construction.
The company will hire several new workers as part of the expansion.
