For the first time, a Levy County business has been selected as one of GrowFL’s 50 Florida Companies to Watch honorees.

A&M Manufacturing in Chiefland was selected as one of the finalists to be recognized at a February 2021 reception. The second-stage companies have demonstrated high competitiveness and innovation, making them “worth watching”  according to GrowFL.

The program has been running since 2011, and A&M’s nomination is the first time a company has made the final list. Coincidentally, another boat manufacturer — Young Boats of Inglis — was named as a finalist candidate a few years ago before the final honorees were announced.
