CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion threw a recent celebration for its new Levy Career Center.
The February 22 ribbon cutting gave guests the chance to see the new location, near the Wal-Mart in Chiefland. The center moved from its old location at the former Chiefland post office late last year.
Benefits of the more visible and accessible location include:
- Expanded services to assist more candidates that are looking for employment, as well as additional space to hold hiring events, workshops and meetings with businesses.

- A business service team to be on site weekly to meet the needs of businesses while expanding outreach to the business community in Levy County
- Workshops for candidates in resume development, interview techniques, as well as social media footprint.
Last fiscal year, CareerSource CLM provided services to 26,000 candidates throughout the three-county area, and nearly 1,800 businesses.
