Non-stop nail biting action and excitement; yep, and the Super Bowl was pretty good, too.
As we begin the second month of 2017, we reflect on a championship year here on the Nature Coast. We’re getting closer to seeing a new campus for the College of Central Florida north of Chiefland. Everything will be good to go for the fall semester, with a ribbon cutting expected in late summer.
Job creation continues its upward trend, while unemployment remained the lowest in the region all of 2016. Efforts continued to identify suitable sites for targeted industry, with several proposals submitted for companies considering the area.
We are into overtime now on some key projects, looking to wrap things up on everything from useful additions to our web site which will help site selectors better understand the area, to helping a few new businesses get off the ground.
