Our friends at Pegasus Farms — who are constructing an aquaponics system at their 40-acre Bronson farm — are helping to restore a piece of history.

They join a group of Vietnam veterans raising funds to rehabilitate and return to service the USS Tutahaco, a US Navy tugboat built in Jacksonville, Fla. that served during World War II. The 325-ton, 100-foot tug will be used for brunch and dinner cruises and special events.

The aim is to have the Tutahaco back on the water by the fall. To join the effort to get it sea-shape, click here for the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
