State Rep. Charlie Stone sat down with Williston business leaders and others recently to learn more about local industry and the challenges faced.
The Aug. 12 roundtable discussion featured a diverse group, including representatives from Regional General Hospital – Williston, Monterey Boats, Team Tango, Shadow Trailers, the A&N Corporation and the City. Discussion focused on attracting quality employers to the area but also addressing the shortage of qualified job candidates in the area.
Stone vowed to do his best to work with local businesses to ensure they have what they need to grow. He also plans to conduct more roundtable discussions across the county in the coming months.
